From Mom to Mompreneur The 10 Essential Traits My Kids Taught Me about Running a Business

Everything I know about being a Mompreneur I learned from raising my Kids As a business owner I am sure you have experienced times when you felt overwhelmed, flustered, frustrated, desperate, confused and out of your league. Some of you may have wanted to give up. You may have thought that you were in over your head. This was not the reason you got into business. We are going to explore that in this post. What is life like a working mom? Wake up, get the kids up, get them to brush their teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast, all the while trying to get your face on, trying to do something about that hair and pick clothes so you look presentable. You drag them to the car  a panic because you are afraid you will be late for work. Shit you forgot the lunches, OK Tim Hortons drive through and were good....

Most sales professionals would like to excel at their jobs, but find themselves struggling to achieve increased sales. An easy way to combat this problem is to learn to read your customers micro expressions. If you are in sales, you understand how important it is to make a sale. Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway

We all feel fear, it is the natural way our body and mind tell us to be aware of danger but that does not mean that we should not go forward. We need to confront our fears in order to move forward in life. We need to accept them, embrace them and allow ourselves to feel the fears we experience in order to move on. Everyone feels fear. In the cave man days fear protected us from predators, dangers and daily life. Today fear is our concoction. It helps us to know when we need to take charge, look closely at what we are doing and to reevaluate where our life is going. We cannot allow fear stop us from experiencing life or going forward because if it does we will be stagnant. We have seen this in the lives of our friends when they fear making changes that will help them to go forward. We see it in our children when they fear change like trying a...
